Brigette Pheloung shares more than just DNA with her identical twin sister Danielle Pheloung.
The fashion influencer—whose Acquired Style online persona boasts over one million TikTok followers—revealed exactly how close she and Danielle are during a recent interview.
“Wanna know something crazy?” Brigette asked hosts Danielle Carolan and Brooke Miccio during an appearance on the Sept. 11 episode of the Gals on the Go podcast. “I’m actually embarrassed to say this: We only have one bra.”
Noting that they only own one of the clothing item because “we don’t wear bras,” she went on to reveal that she was currently wearing the garment during the interview.
“But whenever we need a bra,” Brigette continued, “we’re like, ‘Wait, we’re fighting over it.’”
And when Danielle clarified that the twins actually share two bras, Brigette responded, “Well, one’s nude and one’s black, so it’s basically having one bra. And I just feel like that is so niche. The listeners are gonna be like, ‘You guys are weird as f--k.’”
But that wasn’t the only big confession, as Danielle added, “And we share underwear.”
As for why they don’t own separate underwear, Danielle reasoned, “We’ve never been apart.”
And Brigette echoed the explanation, noting, “We used to share a makeup bag until maybe five years ago.”
The sisters, both 27, will soon need to stock up on their essentials, though, as Brigette recently revealed they’ll be moving into their own apartments.
“We’ve been living together since the womb,” Brigette said in a TikTok posted Sept. 25, before sharing that she’s moving in with her boyfriend. “As you guys can imagine, it’s going to be a pretty big change for us, but we’re only gonna be basically 10 minutes—walking distance—from each other.”
But the twins seem to be taking the change in stride, even poking fun at themselves along the way. Shortly after their bra bombshell, they posted a TikTok video where they were seen fighting over a nude-colored bra as text overlayed on screen read, “How you guys expected us to act the second we decided we were moving away from each other.”
